- *A core charge of $400.00 (Honda large case) is charged if the core is not received within 5 days (unless previously discussed with us) or if the returned gear case is not serviceable. I purchased a 25hp Honda outboard two years ago and the service I received was outstanding. I had the technicians install it on my lund 14 foot boat and I’ve had a wonderful experience with my motor and the service from Atlantic marine. These people are one of a kind and they will bend over backwards to help you. They even gave me a prop to try out and they accepted it back when it didn’t work for me. I cant believe there are still honest people in this world. I will speak highly of the entire organization to everyone I come in contact with. Thank you Atlantic, for being a friend!

These folks are great. Though they are one of the few Honda marine service sites in the area and thus handle a large amount of government/military contracts, their service for the individual client is unparalleled. I can't say enough great things about these guys. Since actions speak louder than words, below I've listed several occasions when Atlantic Marine Service went above and beyond for me as a small fry customer.
I've had a number of issues with a ~40 year old Whaler and a relatively new Honda outboard. The issues mostly related to the Whaler being old as dirt and my own inexperience with marine motors. My engine died in the channel at the start of the season and with my unusual hours work schedule (healthcare) it was difficult for me to find a service location that would receive the boat after I was off work and most places around me were backed up several weeks to months. The folks at Atlantic Marine Service bent over backwards to accommodate me and get my motor fixed in just a few days. Scott (prior USCG mechanic who now runs orders/accounts) stayed late on a Friday to make sure they could receive my boat and start work on the problem. As well, when I went to pick the boat up, Shaun (prior AF, turned engine wizard) took a fair amount of time to walk me through various user-level maintenance that I could do to prevent future problems and stay out of the shop.
On another occasion, I was having issues getting the vessel's registration squared away with my home state of Florida (while stationed in Virginia). Scott got me in touch with the owner, Bill, who was able to interface with regulatory officials back in Florida to help me complete the registration process.
Most recently, I had a fuel system issue (old boat with an old dirty tank + new outboard isn't the best combination!) and Scott walked me through diagnostics and fixes to try over the phone. He spent almost 2 hours with me diagnosing the problem which I was ultimately able to fix by his and Shaun's guidance without bringing the motor in. This was huge because they were a bit backed up in the shop and this engine problem popped up right before a big weekend fishing trip!
These guys clearly love what they do -- they care about the customer and they are experts at their craft. I live much closer to several other outboard service locations but will trailer my rig out to them whenever possible for routine or acute service because of how great they are.

Recently had my hull sandblasted at this facility before having it painted and the service was top notch! Friendly, professional staff and very efficient. The turn around time was amazing and the price very fair. Highly recommend this outfit to anyone.
